Many women look for a triphasic chart to show they are pregnant. When I read womens bbt charts I also look for a triphasic chart to help them determine if they are pregnant or not. Are you wondering what a triphasic chart is?

A Triphasic BBT Chart is–

Once you ovulate your chart will show a 2nd level of temps. This is call a biphasic chart. Once you ovulate your temp clearly jumps up higher than before ovulation. Before ovulation your temp will usually be somewhere around 97.5 (although this can really vary) and then once you ovulate the temp goes to somewhere around 98-98.5 (this also really varies). With a triphasic bbt pattern you will see a third shift in your temp. It can occur anywhere between 4 and 10 days. Sometimes the temp will go up to lets say 98.8 or maybe just continue going up each day. It is believed that because the progesterone level keeps going up, the temp keeps going up.

Does this happen for all women? Absolutely not. If you have this triphasic bbt pattern, does it mean you are pregnant? Absolutely not. But, it does help you to know what is going on in your body, and that there is a good possibility that you are pregnant. Keeping the bbt chart also helps determine if you are having blockages, or progesterone drops during your cylce.

There is no need to worry if you do not have a triphasic bbt chart, there is no need to worry if you have a triphasic bbt chart. It is just there as a tool to help you. At that point in your cycle you have done everything you can do to achieve pregnancy.
